Maclean's Music Sires First Foal

Son of Distorted Humor stands at Hill 'n' Dale Farms.

Maclean's Music , a promising young son of Distorted Humor , sired his first reported foal when a dark bay filly was born at Swifty Farms near Seymour, Ind., Jan. 16.

The filly is out of the winning stakes-placed Stormy Atlantic  mare Dowd Chapel. From the family of grade I winner Flashy Bull and millionaire Perfect Soul , Dowd Chapel is owned by John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms.

Maclean's Music won at first asking at Santa Anita Park, prevailing by 7 1/4 lengths under wraps. Raced as a homebred for Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings, he was a $900,000 RNA at the 2009 Keeneland September yearling sale.

Maclean's Music stands for $6,500 at Hill 'n' Dale near Lexington.
