The Factor's First Reported Foal is a Filly

The multiple grade I-winning son of War Front stands at Lane's End Farm.

The first reported foal for freshman sire The Factor  was a filly born Jan. 16, Lane's End Farm announced.

The filly, owned by David and Marilyn Randal’s Fallbrook Farm in Versailles, is out of the winning Nureyev Wicked Ravnina.

The Factor, a two-time grade I winner, is a son of War Front  who earned $922,180 while compiling six wins (five in graded stakes) and two seconds from 13 starts.

"We have been anxiously awaiting The Factor's first foals,” said Bill Farish of Lane's End. "The interest for The Factor as a sire has been phenomenal. In his second year he has received over 300 requests and we have closed his book at 145 mares."

Raced by George Bolton and David Shimmon’s Fog City Stable, The Factor stands for $15,000 at Lane’s End Farm in Versailles.
