William Hill to Offer Stronach Tracks in U.K.

U.K.-based Turf TV has a profit-sharing agreement with Stronach Group.

The United Kingdom's largest bookmaker, William Hill, will broadcast U.S. racing from tracks owned by The Stronach Group through a deal reached with U.K.-based broadcaster Turf TV.

Through the agreement, William Hill will offer live coverage of Stronach tracks that include Gulfstream Park, Laurel Park, Pimlico Race Course, Golden Gate Fields, and Santa Anita Park.

Turf TV, the brand name of Amalgamated Racing Limited—a company owned by Racecourse Media Services and Timeweave—owns the live broadcast rights for 34 of the UK's leading courses. Turf TV provides broadcasts and data to betting shops throughout the U.K. and Ireland, including 90% of England's group stakes.

Last year, Turf TV reached a profit-sharing agreement with Stronach Group to televise races from its tracks.
