Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 157 selected juveniles for its 2-year-olds in training sale March 24 at Adena Springs South in Williston, Fla.
Catalogs for the sale are online at Fasig-Tipton's website and on the Equineline iPad app. Traditional catalogs will be available at the company's offices beginning Feb. 18.
With Adena Springs South offering facilities specifically dedicated to Thoroughbred auctions, including a one-mile dirt training track, the sale is the only one in the eastern United States during which juveniles will work and breeze on a conventional dirt track, according to a release.
The under-tack show will begin at 9 a.m. EST March 21. The sale begins at noon.
"The 2014 catalog is up 15% in numbers over last year," Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning said, "and that growth expands the quality and choices for buyers looking for promising racing prospects. Nine of the top 10 stallions on the 2013 North American general sire list are represented in the sale, as well as the top three freshman sires of last year.
"A feature in the catalog of past graded and group stakes-winning graduates shows success comes at many price levels. Our consignors are offering what the buyers focus on: exceptional athletes with the pedigree to carry them to the top."
