James Street, Wolfcamp to Stand in CA

The sons of El Prado will stand at Vincent Harris' Fruitful Acres near Aguanga.

Multiple graded stakes winner James Street and stakes-placed runner Wolfcamp, sons of El Prado, have been retired from racing to stand at Vincent Harris' Fruitful Acres Farm near Aguanga, Calif.

James Street will stand for $10,000 and Wolfcamp will stand for $3,000.

Bred in Kentucky, James Street raced as a Eugene Melnyk homebred and won or placed in nine graded stakes at Woodbine, including victories in the Autumn Stakes (Can-II), Seagram Stakes (Can-III), and Durham Cup Stakes (Can-III). The 7-year-old holds an overall record of 7-6-4 from 28 starts, for earnings of $637,723. James Street is out of the winning Unbridled mare Alleynedale.

Wolfcamp, who is out of the multiple graded stakes-winning Numerous mare Bauhauser, finished third in the 2012 Dave's Friend Stakes at Laurel Park. Bred in Kentucky by B.M. Kelley, the 6-year-old retired with a career record of 7-4-3 from 24 starts, for earnings of $189,148.
