New Simulcast Center Opening at Aqueduct

Latest enhancement opens April 5 with sports bar, more than 400 large-screen TVs.

Aqueduct Racetrack is unveiling a new simulcasting center and sports bar, Longshots, on the second floor April 5.

With more than 270 individual handicapping cubicles and 55 self-service betting terminals located across four separate seating areas, Longshots affords racing fans the opportunity to watch races on one of more than 400 large-screen televisions or personal seat monitors.

Food and full beverage service will be available at the Longshots sports bar, where racing and top sporting events will be shown throughout the day.

"Longshots is our latest enhancement to Aqueduct, allowing guests to enjoy the races or their favorite sporting event in a fabulous, upscale atmosphere," said Chris Kay, New York Racing Association president.

Admission to Longshots is $5 for the general public and free for all NYRA Rewards members.
