Rosalind worked five furlongs in :58 4/5 over the Lexington Polytrack on April 19.

Landaluce Educe Stables' Rosalind, dead-heat winner with Room Service of the Central Bank Ashland Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland, worked five furlongs in :58 4/5 over the Lexington oval's Polytrack April 19 in company with War Dancer  .

Rosalind, trained by Ken McPeek, is preparing at Keeneland for the Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) May 2 at Churchill Downs.

With Danny Ramsey up, the daughter of Broken Vow   posted fractions of :11 3/5, :22 3/5, and :34, before galloping out six furlongs in 1:12 2/5 after the morning renovation break. She started a little behind War Dancer, the winner of the 2013 Virginia Derby (gr. IIT), who was working toward a start in the April 25 Dixiana Elkhorn (gr. IIT). War Dancer was clocked in :58 3/5.

The work was the first for Rosalind since the April 5 Ashland, in which the chestnut filly finished in a draw with Room Service while seven lengths clear of the third-place finisher.

"I thought it was a little quick," McPeek said of the move. "I wanted a maintenance work of a minute, but I thought War Dancer worked really well."

McPeek said Rosalind will ship to Churchill Downs April 21 and have her final work for the $1 million Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) on "Friday, Saturday or Sunday depending on weather. I want to work on a dry track."
