Munnings Has First Winner in England

Natural Order represented Munnings with his first win at Doncaster May 3.

Grade II winner Munnings was represented by his first winner as a stallion when his 2-year-old son Natural Order won at Doncaster Racecourse in England May 3.

Trained by Karl Burke for Hubert John Strecker, Natural Order won the five-furlong event in his career debut over Flying Machine. Natural Order, who is out of the Giant's Causeway  mare Allure d'Amour, was bred in Kentucky by Chelston and was a $65,000 purchase at the 2013 Keeneland September yearling sale.

Munnings, a son of Speightstown La Comete, by Holy Bull, won the Woody Stephens Stakes and Tom Fool Handicap (both gr. II) at 3, and added a victory in the Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint Championship Stakes (gr. II) during his 4-year-old campaign.

Trained by Todd Pletcher for John and Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor, and Derrick Smith, Munnings retired with a career record of 4-2-5 from 14 starts, for earnings of $742,640. Munnings stands for $10,000 at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky.
