HRRN Announces Preakness Coverage Plans

Horse Racing Radio Network to broadcast Preakness Stakes for seventh year.

Horse Racing Radio Network returns to Pimlico Race Course for the seventh consecutive year with exclusive radio coverage of the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) May 17.

HRRN 's coverage begins the preceding day with a two-hour broadcast of the Black Eyed Susan (gr. II) and Pimlico Special (gr. III) stakes from 4-6 p.m. EDT. On Saturday, HRRN will host a Preakness Stakes edition of their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, from 8-10 a.m. before returning Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. with full day coverage of the Preakness undercard stakes, a special Preakness Preview Show at 4 p.m., and the exclusive broadcast of racing's middle jewel beginning at 5 p.m.

All of HRRN's broadcasts will be available on Sirius 93 and XM 208 with live streaming provided on the HRRN website. In addition, more than 130 affiliates throughout the United States will join for Saturday's Preakness broadcast from 5-7 p.m.
