Breeders' Cup, Hampton Classic in Partnership

Each will be designated marketing partners of one another.

The Breeders' Cup and the Hampton Classic equestrian show jumping event have announced a new marketing partnership, with each designated as official marketing partners of one another.

"The Hampton Classic is a world-class lifestyle and entertainment event and we see the potential for great synergies and cross-over among audiences," said Peter Rotondo, Breeders' Cup vice president of media and entertainment, in a release. "We are excited to introduce the thrill and glamour of the Breeders' Cup to the Hampton Classic audience and see several opportunities to effectively market the luxury appeal of both lifestyle brands through the new partnership."

"The Breeders' Cup attracts worldwide interest and television audiences and is a natural marketing partner for the Hampton Classic," said Shanette Cohen, executive director of the Hampton Classic. "This marketing crossover will allow both events to reach new audiences and should be a true 'win-win' that helps not only both events, but both our sports as a whole."

Along with digital, print, and social media promotion across events, the partnership includes a 'Classic to Classic Sweepstakes', with the winner receiving a "VIP hospitality experience" at the Breeders' Cup World Championships Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park in California.

The Hampton Classic Horse Show returns to Bridgehampton, N.Y., Aug. 24-31, for its 39th year of equestrian competition.
