War Chant to Remain at Yarradale in Australia

Stallion has been standing at Three Chimneys and shuttling to Australia.

Stallion War Chant will permanently move to Yarradale Stud in western Australia, the farm said July 22.

War Chant, 17, has stood at Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky., and has shuttled to Yarradale for the past three years. According to a release, Yarradale owner Ron Sayers made an offer to Three Chimneys earlier in July and will keep the stud in Australia.

War Chant, by Danzig, was represented by his 32nd stakes winner July 19 in Italy.

Yarradale has set his 2015 stud fee at Aust$16,000 (about $15,000 in U.S. funds) plus the goods and services tax. War Chant, who won the 2000 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT), stood for $7,500 (when stands and nurses) this year at Three Chimneys.
