Memorable 2009 Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I) winner I Want Revenge will join Millennium Farms In Lexington where he will stand the 2015 season for $5,000.
An 8-year-old son of Stephen Got Even—Meguial, by Roy, I Want Revenge had stood at Ben and Elaine Walden's Pauls Mill near Versailles, Ky.
After back-to-back wins in the grade III Gotham Stakes and Wood, I Want Revenge was installed as the morning-line favorite for the 2009 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I). He was scratched due to a severe soft tissue injury.
"We are excited to add I Want Revenge to our roster," said Millennium Farms business manager Jay Ted Neel. "He is such a physically imposing individual who possessed such exceptional raw talent, that no one will be surprised if he turns out to be a good sire.
"He comes with a wonderful shareholder base of extremely savvy and successful horsemen that believe in the horse and are heavily supporting him. The decision to buy into I Want Revenge and bring him to Millennium was an easy one. At the price point, breeders who come to see him will likely share our view."
