Keeneland's four-day January mixed sale, which runs from Jan. 12-15, features a number of horses with noteworthy pedigrees or race records. And while those are only some of the factors in a buyer's decision to bid, they certainly add attraction, both for bidders and racing fans. Hip 12 - The 8-year-old broodmare November is by A.P. Indy and is a half sister to grade I winner The Cliff's Edge, and she's carrying a Street Boss foal. She's one of only six A. P. Indy mares in the catalog. Taylor Mades Sales Agency consigns.
Hip 47- Pure Symmetry, a 12-year-old daughter of the influential late sire Storm Cat and champion Serena's Song. That makes her a full sister to group I winner Sophisticat, grade II winner Grand Reward, and grade III winner Schramsberg, as well as a half sister to grade II winner Harlingtonand to Serena's Tune, whose daughter Serena's Catis the dam of Honor Code and a record $3 million Tapit weanling filly who sold at the recent Keeneland November sale. Hip 79 - The Quiet American mare Scolara, now 10, is multiple graded-placed and had earnings of more than $458,000 at the races. She's now carrying her fourth foal, by Lemon Drop Kid, after producing a colt and a filly by Giant's Causeway and a colt by Tiznow. Hip 87 - Highclere, agent, offers this yearling filly, foaled Feb. 19 last year. She is a full sister to the popular graded winner Notacatbutallama, whose earnings stand at $695,534. Both are by the late sire Harlan's Holiday, and the bay filly is a member of his final Northern Hemisphere crop.

Hip 164 - Hill 'n; Dale Sales Agency offers Canada's champion female sprinter of 2013, Youcan'tcatchme, who goes through the ring as a broodmare prospect with earnings of $$436,529. Now age 6, this mare by The Daddy is a full sister to stakes-placed Winning Desire, and her dam is a half sister to such standouts as grade III winnerRhythm Band and to stakes-placed Storm Dixie, the dam of multiple grade I winner Princess of Sylmar.
Hip 168 - Accusation, a 15-year-old Royal Academy mare, is a half sister to graded winner Ifitstobeuptomeand is out of a half sister to 1997 Epsom Derby (Eng-I) winner Benny the Dip. So far, Accusation has produced four stakes performers, most recently the grade III winner Sharp Sensation. Hip 207 - Blind Luck, 2010's champion 3-year-old filly, retired with more than $3.2 million in earnings. Now an 8-year-old broodmare, the Pollard's Vision mare is offered at Keeneland open. Hip 282 - This yearling Hard Spun colt, born last Feb. 6, is a half brother to 2012 Del Mar Futurity (gr. The yearling colt's dam, the Unbridled's Song mare Fog Dance, is a half sister to Quiet Dance, who produced Saint Liam and five other graded and stakes-performers. Hip 285 - The graded-placed stakes winner Foxy Danseur is carrying a foal by the highly fashionable Tapit, and she's already produced a pair of seven-figure sales horses: Tathqeef, a Tapit colt who brought $1.1 million at last year's Keeneland September auction, and Fidelity, an A.P. Hip 353 - Lady Fifty Two is a 4-year-old stakes-winning half sister to grade I winner Lady of Fifty and stakes winner Forestry Steel.
