Woodford Thoroughbreds Buys He's Had Enough

Grade I-placed son of Tapit entered stud this year.

John Sykes' Woodford Thoroughbreds now owns 100% of He's Had Enough , a grade I-placed son of Tapit .

Woodford Thoroughbreds, one of Florida's largest stallion operations, began standing He's Had Enough this year in partnership with Lansdowne Thoroughbreds.

"A wonderful business opportunity allowed us to acquire 100% ownership in He's Had Enough," said Matt Lyons, Woodford's general manager. "He'll breed a quality full book in his first crop, and with his looks and exceptional female family we believe that he has everything needed to be an important stallion for Woodford following in the success of Congrats , who also started his career at our Florida operation."

He's Had Enough finished second to champion Shanghai Bobby  in the 2012 Grey Goose Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I). He also placed in the grade II Robert B. Lewis Stakes.

The colt, bred in partnership by Helen Alexander, Helen Groves, and DD Matz, is out of the stakes-winning Dixieland Band mare Amelia. He retired with earnings of nearly $493,000.
