It's High Time First Winner for Gone Astray

Northwest Stud stallion gets first winner May 21 at Gulfstream Park.

Tracy Pinchin's homebred It's High Time is the first winner for first-crop sire Gone Astray . The 2-year-old filly out of the Proud Accolade mare My Rolex, won the second race May 21 at Gulfstream Park (VIDEO).

It's High Time went wire to wire in her career debut, covering 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.99. She won by 7 1/4 lengths under Jonathan Gonzalez. It's High Time is trained by Jose Pinchin.

The 9-year-old Gone Astray (Dixie UnionIllicit, by Mr. Prospector) won three graded stakes in a four-year campaign, taking the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby (gr. II) by 9 1/4 lengths in 2009. He earned $1,125,162 in a 21-race career for Phipps Stable and trainer Shug McGaughey.

He has stood his entire stud career at Northwest Stud near Ocala, Fla. His 2015 fee is $4,500.

It's High Time is the second foal out of My Rolex, a half sister to the lightning-quick Black Seventeen, winner of the 2008 Vosburgh Stakes (gr. I).
