Haskin Resigns as Senior Correspondent

Steve Haskin has resigned as senior correspondent to pursue other opportunities.

Steve Haskin has resigned from his position as senior correspondent to pursue select freelance opportunities, public relations work, and consulting.

A valuable contributor to the Blood-Horse since December 1998, Haskin's resignation is effective immediately.

Haskin's "Derby Dozen" was a well-respected barometer of top 3-year-olds heading into each Triple Crown season. His insights also were regularly featured in his "Hangin' with Haskin" blog.

As senior correspondent, he was the magazine's lead writer for the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes (all gr. I) during his tenure here and provided the color and behind-the-scenes stories for the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I).

Blood-Horse greatly appreciates his valuable contributions to the magazine and and wishes him all the best.
