Champion Judy the Beauty Breezes at Saratoga

Several grade I winners and champions work July 23 at Saratoga Race Course.

A number of grade I winners, including several champions, worked July 23 on the main track at Saratoga Race Course as well as the Oklahoma training track.

Both tracks were rated as fast. Those workers included:

* Champion female sprinter Judy the Beauty, breezing five furlongs in 1:01.88 for owner-trainer Wesley Ward.

The work was third-fastest of seven moves reported at the distance. In her most recent start the 6-year-old daughter of Ghostzapper  finished a close second in the Humana Distaff Stakes (gr. I) May 2 at Churchill Downs.

* Last year's champion 3-year-old filly Untapable, completing five furlongs in 1:01.76 for trainer Steve Asmussen on the training track.

* Last year's champion 2-year-old filly Take Charge Brandi, breezing the same distance on the training track in 1:02 2/5 for Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas.

• Centennial Farms' grade I winner Wicked Strong , breezing a half-mile in :48 3/5 on the training track for trainer Jimmy Jerkens.

• Antonio Miuccio's Palace , working five furlongs in 1:00.41 for trainer Linda Rice, the second-fastest of seven works reported at the distance. Grade I winner Palace, a 6-year-old City Zip horse, has not raced since a fifth-place finish in the Carter Handicap (gr. I) April 4 at Aqueduct Racetrack.
