Real Solution Acquired by Calumet Farm

Son of leading sire Kitten's Joy entered stud this year at Ramsey Farm.

Real Solution , who stood his first season at Ken and Sarah Ramsey's Ramsey Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. this year, has been acquired by Calumet Farm near Lexington to stand at stud.

A 6-year-old homebred son of the Ramseys' leading sire Kitten's Joy , Real Solution began his career in Italy, where he was a stakes winner for trainer Gianluca Bietolini.

Returned to the U.S., where he was trained by Chad Brown, Real Solution won or placed in five grade I stakes, including victories in the Arlington Million and Knob Creek Manhattan. The horse finished second in the 2014 Man o' War (gr. IT) and was third in the Woodford Reserve Manhattan and Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational, both grade I turf stakes in 2013.

Real Solution retired with a 5-2-2 record from 15 starts and earnings of $1,374,175.
