Elisabeth ÒBettyÓ Alexander owns Magna Graduate, who was bred in Kentucky by Nicole Zitani and Ramon Rangel. Magna Graduate is out of the Fast Play mare Peacock Alley.
ÒPhysically they (Peacock Alley and Honor Grades) were a perfect match,Ó said Nicole Zitani. ÒShe was the female version of Honor Grades, and I try to breed like to like. I liked that Honor Grades had some turf influence and she (Peacock Alley) was the same way.Ó
Although Peacock Alley was unraced, her dam, AnnaÕs Honor (by Alleged), won a stakes race in France and placed in two group races there.
Zitani sold Peacock Alley to Olin Gentry of Gaines-Gentry Thoroughbreds at the 2005 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall mixed sale for a fee of $250,000. She was in foal to Hennessy.
