Seajay Racing's Spelling Again turned back a late bid from Cali Star and won the Princess Rooney Handicap Presented by Hardacre Farm (gr. II) by a neck July 2 at Gulfstream Park.
Birdatthewire returns to Gulfstream Park for the Princess Rooney Stakes (gr. II) on the Summit of Speed card. The switch of the race from six to seven furlongs should play to her favor.
