Multiple graded stakes winner Silver Medallion has been retired following a suspensory ligament injury he sustained during a workout at Belmont Park.
Eight stakes winners are among the entrants for the $150,000 Fort Marcy Stakes (gr. IIIT) on the grass May 5 at Belmont Park, with Boisterous the 5-2 morning line choice.
Get Stormy, making his first start since he was eased out of the TVG Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) last fall, led throughout in the Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap Feb. 11 for his third grade I win.

Silver Medallion has found a home on grass since arriving at Todd Pletcher's barn last fall, but he'll face the toughest test of his career in the $300,000 Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap (gr. I) Feb. 11.
The Fort Lauderdale Stakes (gr. IIIT) not only drew a full field, but many of the entrants are recognizable names with both turf and dirt experience. It should make for an interesting race, as a field of 12 will do battle.

Silver Medallion is the lone Coolmore Lexington (gr. III) entrant with a chance to make the Kentucky Derby; Casper's Touch would point toward the Preakness (gr. I) with a good effort in the April 23 race.
