The Fort Lauderdale Stakes (gr. IIIT) not only drew a full field, but many of the entrants are recognizable names with both turf and dirt experience. It should make for an interesting race, as a field of 12 will do battle.

This is not about who is going to win the Kentucky Derby, as much as who so far has the look of a Derby winner--who is on track to peak on Derby Day, who looks eager to do more than they already have.
The 40th running of the nine-furlong race will be held March 26 on Polytrack. Formerly known as the Lane's End Stakes, the Vinery Racing Spiral Stakes was downgraded from grade II to grade III this year.
