Sheikh Mohammed topped trade at the Tattersalls December breeding stock sale for a third consecutive day, paying 1.8 million guineas for Lady Marian (by Nayef), winner of this year's Prix de l'Opera (Fr-I), Dec. 3 in England.

Tattersalls has cataloged 2,728 lots for its December mixed sale, which will be held Nov. 24 through Dec. 4 in England. There are 237 yearlings listed for the auction's first day, 1,261 foals spread over five days, and 1,230 lots of breeding stock listed for the sale's final four days.
