Stone Bird will try to pull off the upset in the Rebel Stakes (gr. II) March 15 at Oaklawn Park. Making his stakes debut, he will have to take down eight rivals, including Z Fortune and Anak Nakal.
Coming off his Delta Jackpot win, the Dixie Union colt looks to solidify Derby position Feb. 18 at Oaklawn Park.
Two colts by Holy Bull battled through the stretch at Oaklawn Park Jan. 21, and it was Kenneth Maier's Liberty Bull who earned a neck victory over Alex and Joann Lieblong's Isabull in the $50,000 Smarty Jones Stakes for 3-year-olds at one mile.
