Gary Barber and Sequel Racing's Haveyougoneaway has proven her talent and mettle on the New York circuit this season.
Since moving to New York and to the barn of Thomas Morley, Haveyougoneaway has been a different mare and she took another step forward Aug. 27 with a hard-earned victory in the $500,000 Ballerina (gr. I) at Saratoga Race Course.
Since relocating to the state of her birth this spring, Sequel Racing's Haveyougoneaway has raced with her fellow New York-breds, but took the step up to graded stakes competition with aplomb July 27.
Haveyougoneaway edged game favorite Sarah Sis in the $100,000 American Beauty Stakes Jan. 23, galloping through on the rail off the turn and working hard for the victory at Oaklawn Park.
In taking the American Beauty Stakes Jan. 24 at Oaklawn Park, Sugar Shock proved she could be successful sprinting and could return a winner after seven months away from the track.
The $400,000 Fantasy Stakes (gr. III) April 5 at Oaklawn Park will provide Repole Stable's Stopchargingmaria an excellent opportunity to rebound off a dull effort in the Davona Dale Stakes (gr. II).
