WinStar Farm's General Election captured his second graded stakes with a come-from-behind victory in the $110,400 Jefferson Cup (gr. IIIT) for 3-year-olds at Churchill Downs Sept. 28.

The April 20 Coolmore Lexington (gr. III) offers 20 points and a potential place in the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) starting gate, but not all contenders in the last-minute prep will aim for the first Saturday in May.
A full field of 12 is expected when Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (gr. II) winner Uncaptured makes his 2013 debut March 23 in the $550,000 Horseshoe Cincinnati Casino Stakes (gr. III) at Turfway Park.
