Classic Campaign Rallies for Carey Score

Classic Campaign Rallies for Carey Score

Classic Campaign entered the $150,000 Robert F. Carey Memorial Handicap (gr. IIIT) without a win in his last six starts. But the Kinsman Stable homebred proved he was right where he belonged, rallying from fourth place at the top of the stretch to overtake Crested (GB) by a nose on the Hawthorne turf Sept. 29.

Classic Campaign Heads Big Field in Miami Mile

The powerful Bill Mott stable sends out Kinsman Stable's Classic Campaign in a wide-open field of 12 older horses set for the $150,000 Miami Mile Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. IIIT) on the Calder turf course. The 5-year-old gelding will have to overcome the far outside post with champion jockey Garrett Gomez making a rare South Florida appearance to ride.

Contenders Abound in Crown Royal American

Amerman Racing's Chattahoochee War, winner of the recent Transylvania (gr. IIIT) at Keeneland, and the Todd Pletcher-trained duo of Dubleo and Guilliame Tell top a field of nine 3-year-olds entered in the Crown Royal American Turf (gr. IIIT) at Churchill Downs Friday.
