A $190,000 weanling colt by first-crop sire Graydar and the $180,000 broodmare prospect Judy Legend were the six-figure lots at the Keeneland November sale's 10th session, which posted sharp gains.
The Keeneland November sale's eighth day Nov. 9 ended lower despite selling 11 six-figure horses, but the 12-day auction still remained ahead of 2014's numbers overall.
Hill 'n' Dale Farms has released its stallion roster and fees for 2016, but it hasn't yet announced the fee for its newly acquired stallion Curlin. His fee will be announced at a future date.
Stonestreet and Hill 'n' Dale Farms said Jan. 13 that Atreides, the multiple stakes-winning son of Medaglia d'Oro out of multiple grade I winner and young producer Dream Rush, will retire to Hill 'n' Dale for 2015.
Stonestreet Stables' Atreides, winner of his first three starts by a combined 25 3/4 lengths, will make his first start around two turns in the $500,000 Indiana Derby (gr. II) for 3-year-olds the evening of Oct. 4.
Employing his long, fluid stride, undefeated Atreides took another step forward at Gulfstream Park Aug. 30, capturing the $75,000 Monarchos Stakes by a remarkable 17 3/4 lengths for his third consecutive dominant victory.
