The 2009 Thoroughbred Mares Bred Report shows the number of mares bred to North American stallions in 2009 as reported to The Jockey Club. The statistics represent approximately 92% of the actual mares bred. The Jockey Club expects to receive another 4,000-5,000 reports. The chart lists alphabetically all the stallions that bred at least one mare and shows comparable figures for these sires for the 2008 and 2007 seasons.
