75-1 Fran's Valentine finished 1st in the 1984 Juvenile Fillies, but she was disqualified and placed 10th. Instead, the win was awarded to Outstandingly who was also named Champion 2-year old filly.

In 1985, Twilight Ridge defeated her stablemate Family Style, as the D. Wayne Lukas fillies ran 1-2. Family Style was named 2-year old filly champ.
Brave Raj's 5 1/2 length victory in 1986 made her the richest 2-year old filly in history. She was later earned 2-year old Champion.

Epitome (#6) overtakes Jeanne Jones to win the 1987 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Epitome was named 2-year old champion filly for her efforts.

Open Mind closed from 10th to take the victory and lead a 1-2-3 finish for D. Wayne Lukas. Open Mind was named Champion 2-year old filly.

Go for Wand avenged her loss earlier in the year to Stella Madrid by defeating that filly in the Breeders' Cup. Go for Wand also took home the Eclipse for Champion 2-year old filly.
In 1993, Phone Chatter (outside) defeated Sardula by a head, as favorite Heavenly Prize finished 3rd. Phone Chatter was named 2-year old Champion.

Flanders and Serena's Song fought to the wire in the 1994 Juvenile Fillies, with Flanders (inside) prevailing by a head. It would be the last race for 2-year old filly champ Flanders who pulled up lame after the finish. Flanders is the dam of grade I winner Surfside. Serena's Song has produced group I winner Sophisticat and grade II winners, Grand Reward and Harlington.
Silverbulletday took the 1998 Juvenile Fillies over stablemate Excellent Meeting, as Bob Baffert finished 1-2. Silverbulletday took the Eclipse Award as well.
In 2000, the payoff was even bigger for Caressing, whose final odds were 47-1. She was the first Breeders' Cup starter for owner Carl Pollard and trainer David Vance. Caressing was named Champion 2-year old filly.
Storm Flag Flying surged late to become the first third-generation Breeders' Cup winner, joining her dam, 1995 Juvenile Fillies winner My Flag, and her grandam, 1988 Distaff winner Personal Ensign.
Undefeated Halfbridled broke from hole 14 and then pulled away to take the 2003 Juvenile Fillies and the 2-year old filly Eclipse, as Julie Krone became the first female jockey to take a Breeders' Cup race.
