Anyone who saw his antics prior to last year's Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) would not have recognized Quality Road as the same colt that demolished the field Feb. 6 in the Donn Handicap (gr. I) in track-record time at Gulfstream Park.

Quality Road's margin of victory was the largest in the Donn's 52 runnings, breaking the record of nine lengths set in 1972 by Going Straight.

Starlight Partners' Take the Points (right) drifted in while rallying to get the lead inside the eighth pole in the Feb. 6 Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap (gr. IT), and despite winning by 1 1/2 lengths, was disqualified and placed fifth. Court Vision (center) was awarded the victory.

Tottie, the 9-5 favorite, remained unbeaten in two starts since shipping to the U.S., as she stalked the pace and took over mid-stretch en route to a narrow win in the Suwannee River Stakes (gr. IIIT) Feb. 6 at Gulfstream Park.

Richard's Kid is Dubai-bound after winning the San Antonio Handicap (gr. II) at Santa Anita Feb. 7 in his first start for new owner Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed al Maktoum's Zabeel Racing International. Trainer Bob Baffert has continued to train for his new owner. He said after the race that Richard's Kid would compete in the Dubai World Cup (UAE-I) at the new Meydan Racecourse in Dubai March 27.
