Millionaire and multiple grade I winner Precious Kitten has been sold for an undisclosed amount to Roy and Gretchen Jackson’s Lael Stable and will continue to race in 2008 out of the barn of trainer Bobby Frankel.

Sunriver, a grade I winner in 2007 and a full brother to champion Ashado, will enter stud at Empire Stud near Hudson, N.Y. The 5-year-old son of Saint Ballado will stand for $15,000.

Southern Equine Stables was the biggest spender at the January sale at Keeneland, purchasing 10 horses for $3,862,000, including the $2.7-million sale topper, Irish Cherry, a 14-year-old grade I-producing mare that was in foal to Ghostzapper.
