Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Tanourin Stable's Silsita upset heavily favored Pure Fun and survived a stretch duel with 31-1 shot Marathon Lady to take the $100,000 Fathead Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park March 23.
Pure Fun, winner of the Hollywood Starlet (gr. I) in December, gets her season started in the $100,000 Fathead Bourbonette Oaks (gr. III) as the 8-5 favorite in a field of a dozen 3-year-old fillies March 23 at Turfway Park.
Juddmonte Spinster (gr. I) winner In Lingerie has been retired from racing and will be bred to two-time Cartier Horse of the Year Frankel.
Martin Schwartz's Zagora took the lead leaving the second turn and held off a tenacious Marketing Mix for a game victory in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT) at Santa Anita Park Nov. 2.

In Lingerie, injured while winning the May 18 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (gr. II) at Pimlico Race Course, was doing well the morning after the race, according to Aron Wellman, president Eclipse Thoroughbred Thoroughbed Partners.
