With a week remaining until the William Hill Haskell Invitational (gr. I) at Monmouth Park, the field continues to take shape as Top Clearance joins the list horses likely to take on American Pharoah.
Monmouth Park reports that Triple Crown winner American Pharoah is scheduled to arrive at the Oceanport, N.J. track July 29, as he prepares to start in the $1 million William Hill Haskell Invitational Stakes (gr. I) Aug. 2.
With just more than two weeks to go before American Pharoah's scheduled return in the $1 million William Hill Haskell Invitational Stakes (gr. I) Aug. 2 at Monmouth Park, the field is taking shape.
Robert LaPenta's March won a hard-fought battle by a slim nose in the $500,000 Woody Stephens Stakes (gr. II), the first of nine graded stakes on the Belmont Stakes (gr. I) day under card.

Lets Go Stable and WinStar Farm's Daredevil, whose 3-year-old debut in the Feb. 28 Fasig-Tipton Swale Stakes (gr. II) was postponed until March 7 due to heavy rains, returned to the work tab March 2.
Trainer Todd Pletcher won three graded stakes races with older horses Feb. 7 at Gulfstream Park, but he also has a wealth of talented 3-year-olds in South Florida.

Oaklawn Park reported Nov. 7 that it has received a record number of stall applications for the 2015 winter/spring race season.
WinStar Farm announced 2015 stud fees for most of its 22-stallion roster, which is headed again by leading sire Distorted Humor at $100,000 stands and nurses, and includes a new fee for leading freshman sire Super Saver.
