For his first start since sweeping the Triple Crown, American Pharoah drew post four for the Aug. 2 William Hill Haskell Invitational Stakes (gr. I) to be run Aug. 2 at Monmouth Park.
Monmouth Park officials said July 30 that they reached out to other tracks to try to create a post-Triple Crown three-race series that would have carried a bonus.
Grade I winner Frosted is scheduled to start in the $600,000 Jim Dandy Stakes (gr. II) on Saturday, Aug. 1 at Saratoga Race Course, his first race since June 6 when he finished second in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I).
Godolphin Stable's Frosted put in his final work July 25 before the $600,000 Jim Dandy (gr. II) to be run Aug. 1 at Saratoga Race Course, going four furlongs in 47.91 over the main track under exercise rider Rob Massey.
Force proved one to be reckoned with in the $150,000 New York Derby at Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack July 3, upsetting at odds of 13-1 to give trainer Mark Casse his second win in the New York Derby.
