Champion Beholder took to the track in Lexington as dawn was just creeping over the Keeneland grandstand, getting a long-awaited look at the site of her Oct. 31 Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) run.
Of the top six finishers from last year's Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), only fifth-place finisher Tonalist is among the pre-entries in this year's edition Oct. 31 at Keeneland.
Led by Triple Crown winner American Pharoah and two-time Breeders' Cup champion mare Beholder, 200 horses, including 32 from overseas, have been pre-entered for the 2015 Breeders' Cup World Championships.

The champion racemare takes in her new surroundings at Keeneland Oct. 21. watch video
After being treated with antibiotics the 5-year-old racemare was bright and alert with her temperature back to normal again. She could train Oct. 22 or 23 at Keeneland.
The 5-year-old racemare's white blood cell count was only slightly elevated, and the 101.3 degree temperature she had in the early morning hours of her first day in Kentucky was likely caused by shipping.
