After finishing second in his two most recent stakes tries, Stanford took care of business Saturday, July 11 to win the $100,000 Long Branch Stakes at Monmouth Park.

The $150,000 Sanford Stakes (gr. III) July 19 at Saratoga Race Course pits two undefeated stakes winners in Bessie's Boy, six-length winner of the Tremont at Belmont, and impressive Bashford Manor victor Cinco Charlie.
After overwhelming seven other 2-year-olds in his 4 1/2-furlong debut at Churchill Downs, Cinco Charlie will stretch out to six furlongs for his stakes debut June 28 in the $100,000 Bashford Manor Stakes (gr. III).
