Trainer Chad Brown will seek to continue his recent dominance in the Sweetest Chant Stakes (gr. IIIT) Jan. 24 at Gulfstream Park when he saddles Consumer Credit in the one-mile turf stakes for 3-year-old fillies.
When Ekati's Phaeton goes to the post in the $100,000 Old Hat Stakes (gr. III) Jan. 3 at Gulfstream Park, the filly will be starting a fresh season as a 3-year-old.
Two-year-old fillies will attempt to get a mile and valuable black type in the grade III Tempted Stakes, with the field being led by grade II winner Paulassilverlining and stakes winner Harlan's Honor.
It was a busy day Oct. 25 on the track at Santa Anita Park, where nearly two dozen participants in the two-day Breeders' Cup World Championships went through their final paces.
About one month after winning the P. G. Johnson, Partisan Politics will try for a second straight stakes win when she faces an expected 11 other 2-year-old fillies in Miss Grillo Stakes (gr. IIIT) Sept. 28 at Belmont.
Fashion Alert remained undefeated in two starts and picked up her first graded stakes victory in the process July 18, but had to work hard to do it in the $150,000 Schuylerville Stakes (gr. III) at Saratoga Race Course.
