A compact but experienced field will go out March 22 in the $100,000 Stymie Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack, as Evening Attire Stakes winner North Slope looks to fend off Micromanage and Vyjack.

Spendthrift Farm's Awesome Patriot, a stakes-winning full brother to Preakness (gr. I) winner Oxbow, sired his first reported foal just after midnight Feb. 8. The colt was born at Windhorse Thoroughbreds in Middleburgh, N.Y.
Power Broker, a grade I-winning son of Pulpit, sired his first two reported foals Feb. 5 for owners Gary and Mary West, Hill 'n' Dale Farms announced.
