Pablo Del Monte, third in the grade I Toyota Blue Grass Stakes in April, will attempt to go even longer, and this time on dirt, in the May 17 Preakness Stakes (gr. I) at Pimlico Race Course.
After traveling together from Louisville to Baltimore May 14, Preakness Stakes (gr. I) contenders Ria Antonia, Bayern, Dynamic Impact, and Pablo Del Monte all stretched their legs May 15 on a cloudy day at Pimlico.
After the vans pulled in late the afternoon of May 14, all the contenders for the $1.5 million Preakness Stakes (gr. I) were on the grounds at Pimlico Race Course except for Ring Weekend, who will arrive May 15 before noon.
