New York-bred Upstart proved his class Jan. 24 at Gulfstream Park, tracking pacesetter Bluegrass Singer to the final turn and then drawing away impressively to win the $400,000 Lambholm South Holy Bull Stakes (gr. II).
After winning last year's Holy Bull (gr. II) with Cairo Prince, trainer Kiaran McLaughlin returns to the $400,000 race Jan. 24 at Gulfstream Park with another strong contender in the highly regarded Frosted.
