An assistant to Larry Jones said April 20 the trainer had shown improvement from injuries he sustained the previous day when thrown from a horse at Delaware Park.
Whisper Hill Farm's Havre de Grace and Plum Pretty both produced their first foals at Timber Town Farm near Lexington, a Tapit filly from Havre de Grace and a colt by Distorted Humor out of Plum Pretty.
A half sister to Havre de Grace sold for $1.7 million late in the fourth session of the Keeneland September yearling sale Sept. 12 in Lexington. Alex Solis, agent, signed the ticket for the Tiznow filly.

The sale of Havre de Grace for the third-highest price ever for a broodmare or broodmare prospect highlights a sale that saw gross receipts nearly double.
Havre de Grace, the 2011 Horse of the Year and champion older mare, brought some major fireworks to the Fasig-Tipton November sale when she commanded a final bid of $10 million from Mandy Pope of Whisper Hill Farm.
The Fasig-Tipton November sale, which is known for its prominent cast of selected entries, will again feature several standouts, including this year's Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT) winner Zagora.
Fox Hill Farms' Joyful Victory, a multiple graded stakes-winning earner of more than $625,000, heads a competitive field of 11 fillies and mares entered for the $150,000 Chilukki Stakes (gr. II) Nov. 3 at Churchill Downs.
