Here is your chance to choose the top race of 2014. The BloodHorse.com staff had a tough time narrowing down this year's poll to just 15 races, but here they are and now it is time for you to select the best race.
With two previous third-place finishes in the race formerly known as the Japan Cup Dirt, Michiaki Yabe's Hokko Tarumae was too powerful this year and won the $1,638,183 Champions Cup (Jpn-I) Dec. 7 at Chukyo Racecourse.
For the third time, two-time Horse of the Year Wise Dan is among six horses on the ballot for this year's Secretariat Vox Populi Award.
With his victory in the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), Bayern moved into a tie for sixth on the Longines World's Best Race Horse Rankings.
