Executiveprivilege, a two-time grade I winner last year who has been sidelined for a good portion of 2013, continues on the comeback trail when she faces seven challengers in the $300,000 Go for Wand Handicap (gr. II).

Both Wise Dan and Groupie Doll, who led the list of notable upsets nationwide in major stakes tests Oct. 5, remain on target for their respective dates in the Breeders' Cup World Championships, according to their trainers.
Wesley Ward's Judy the Beauty cruises past Gypsy Robin and champion Groupie Doll to win the Oct. 5 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes (gr. II) at Keeneland. The daughter of Ghostzapper gets the six furlongs in 1:09.23.

Dance to Bristol ran her winning streak to seven races with her first grade I tally in the $500,000 Ballerina Stakes, staving off favored Book Review by a head with determination Aug. 23 at Saratoga Race Course.
Dance to Bristol has answered every question asked in her past six starts by delivering six wins. She faces a bigger task in the Aug. 23 Ballerina Stakes (gr. I) against 10 others including Starship Truffles and Book Review.
Reneesgotzip gave trainer Peter Miller every reason to be confident heading into the Rancho Bernardo Handicap (gr. III) Aug. 18 at Del Mar, and his speedy 4-year-old filly showed why with a 4 1/4-length romp in record time.
Grade II winner Reneesgotzip, 2-for-2 on the Del Mar Polytrack, will be a big favorite in the $150,000 Rancho Bernardo Handicap (gr. III), a 6 1/2-furlong dash to be run Aug. 18.

It's not surprising that Ghostzapper's offspring would do best when given time, and it's more than likely that this was the reason for his perceived initial 'failure to launch.'
Dual grade I winner Executiveprivilege made her long-awaited 3-year-old debut July 18 at Del Mar, but she was no match for speedster Reneesgotzip in a salty allowance test on the main track.
