Preakness (gr. I) runner-up Itsmyluckyday, pulled up in the Pegasus Stakes (gr. III) in June with what was later diagnosed as a fractured Ilium, a bone in the pelvic region, is coming along well, trainer Eddie Plesa Jr. said.
The $150,000 Carry Back Stakes (gr. III) set up perfectly for a closer at Calder Casino & Race Course on July 6, and Mico Margarita took full advantage to win his first graded stakes for J. Kirk and Judy Robison.
Averill Racing and Silver Oak Stable's R Free Roll will be seeking her third victory over males in as many starts in the July 6 Carry Back Stakes (gr. III) at Calder Casino & Race Course.
Itsmyluckyday, who was pulled up on the backstretch during the running of the June 16 Pegasus Stakes (gr. III) at Monmouth Park, is expected to miss four months of training with a slight fracture of the Ilium.

Stuart Janney III and Phipps Stable's Orb, winner of the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), drew post 1 and was made the favorite for the May 18 Preakness Stakes (gr. I), second leg of the Triple Crown.
Nine horses have been entered for the 138th Preakness Stakes (gr. I): Orb, Departing, Goldencents, Govenor Charlie, Itsmyluckyday, Mylute, Oxbow, Titletown Five and Will Take Charge.
Mike Pegram's Govenor Charlie, remains on course for a start in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I), trainer Bob Baffert said May 14. "He came out of his work really, really well," said Baffert. "We are prepared to go."
