Atigun and Air Support head a solid field of eight older horses, including Swift Warrior, ready to duke it out in the $300,000 Colonial Turf Cup Stakes (gr. IIT) June 22 at Colonial Downs.
Favored Boisterous salvaged a rough weekend for Phipps Stable and trainer Shug McGaughey with a timely 1 1/4-length victory in the $202,500 Monmouth Stakes (gr. IIT) on the turf June 9 at Monmouth Park.

It didn't go as smoothly as planned but odds-on choice Silver Max got the job done anyway in the $600,000 Virginia Derby (gr. IIT), registering his sixth consecutive turf win on yielding ground at Colonial Downs July 21.
Waterford Stable's Summer Front will run in the $100,000 Duluth Stakes at Saratoga July 22 rather than travel to Colonial Downs for the Virginia Derby (gr. IIT) a day earlier, according to trainer Christophe Clement.

Silver Max puts a five-race winning streak on the line as the 123-pound high weight July 21 in the $600,000 Virginia Derby (gr. IIT), the showcase event of the summer meet at Colonial Downs.
Odds-on choice Hunters Bay had no problem with the 1 1/4-mile distance in his first try, putting away Pender Harbour in deep stretch to post a one-length victory in the $204,961 Dominion Day Stakes (Can-III) at Woodbine.
Pender Harbour, Canada's champion 3-year-old male of 2011, will try to make it two straight when he takes on five rivals in the Dominion Day Stakes (Can-III) at Woodbine July 1.
Dullahan, rested after his third-place showing in the Kentucky Derby, will be seeking vindication when he tackles I'll Have Another in the Belmont Stakes for Jerry Crawford's Donegal Racing partnership.
Grade I winner Paddy O'Prado is back at B. Wayne Hughes' Spendthrift Farm near Lexington following colic surgery May 11 at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute near Lexington.
The son of El Prado is expected to recover fully from a twist in his large colon.
Trainer and Mike Maker and Thoroughbred owner Harvey Diamond have been down the Derby trail together...but this time they mean it.
