The $250,000 Ruffian Handicap (gr. II), originally scheduled for April 5 at Aqueduct Racetrack, will now be contested on May 11 at Belmont Park.

He never backed down from a fight, and wherever they entered him, he ran. Wise Dan galloped his way through the most consistent season delivered by a racehorse in 2013 to edge Point of Entry and Magician for Turf Male honors.
A steady campaign placed Wise Dan squarely at the top of the Male Turf Horse category for the Eclipse Awards, an honor he won last season when sweeping Horse of the Year and Older Horse.

Millions Turf Preview Stakes winner Bad Debt shares co-highweight assignment with Philly Ace in the $100,000 Tropical Turf Handicap (gr. IIIT) Dec. 7 at Calder, a race Philly Ace won in 2012 in his last start.
Joe and Helen Barbazon announced the arrival of four additional stallions at their newly formed Pleasant Acres Stallions near Morriston, Fl., along with the 2014 stud fees for the roster, which now numbers six.
Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Farm announced Nov. 7 the 2014 stud fees for their Kentucky stallion roster including new stallions Point of Entry and Fort Larned.
Five-time grade I winner Point of Entry arrived at Adena Springs Kentucky the morning of Nov. 7 and was settling in well, according to general manager Eric Hamelback.

Five-time grade I winner Point of Entry delivered a solid move in company over the Belmont Park inner turf course on Oct. 13, going five furlongs in 1:01.24 to stay on track for a comeback in the Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. I).
Waterford Stable's even money favorite Summer Front brought home a third grade III victory with his win in the 35th edition $100,000 Cliff Hanger Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Monmouth Park Aug. 25.

Trainer Shug McGaughey said Aug. 20 that the Phipps Stable's Point of Entry had his first gallop since being injured and he is confident the colt will make it back for the Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT).
Last year's Virginia Derby (gr. IIT) winner Silver Max flashed speed from the gate to add the July 28 Oceanport Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Monmouth to his portfolio for trainer Dale Romans and owners Mark Bacon and Dana Wells.
After winning his seasonal debut at Colonial Downs, grade II winner Hudson Steele appears to be well prepared for a start in the $150,000 Oceanport Stakes (gr. III) July 28 at Monmouth Park.

Although Point of Entry will not defend his title in the $600,000 Man o' War Handicap at Belmont Park July 13, Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey hopes Boisterous will be a capable pinch-hitter in the grade I turf event.
