Descending from a full sister to Man o'War, this colt has the pedigree to be in contention for the 2011 Triple Crown -- but he has plenty of competition, even from within his own barn.
Yes, it's easy to knock Stay Thirsty's Gotham Stakes (gr. III) victory. He time was slow, his Beyer figure was low, he wasn't beating a strong field.
This weekend features Saturday's Gotham Stakes from Aqueduct, and a Sunday allowance race at Gulfstream that will serve as Dailed In's two-turn debut.
Jason, Tom and Les handicap the Gotham Stakes (gr. III) and the Santa Anita H. (gr. I).
Stay Thirsty was installed the 9-5 favorite in the 1 1/16-mile Gotham Stakes, which drew a mostly unheralded field of nine.
