California owner-breeder Michael Power pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor theft charge Monday and was sentenced by Superior Court in Auburn, Calif., to 30 days in jail, three years probation, and a $100 fine.

California Thoroughbred owner and breeder Michael Power is charged with one felony count of theft in connection with the sale of a horse that his accuser claims was never delivered.
"Unbridled Greed," a documentary about the Calumet Farm bankruptcy, will air Wednesday.
Power went out during the stretch run of the third race Friday at Gulfstream Park and remained out through the eighth race.
