On the same day that Hollywood Park says good-bye Zenyatta, her trainer John Shirreffs will try to maintain a semblance of Z-Power when his solid Brazilian mare Zardana goes for a repeat in the Bayakoa Handicap Dec 5.
Hollywood Park will return to a four-day week with live racing Thursday through Sunday for the remaining two weeks of its Autumn meet, the track announced Dec. 2.

Mr. and Mrs. William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm announced Nov. 29 that Jerry and Ann Moss' now-retired champion Zenyatta will make an appearance at Keeneland upon her arrival in Kentucky Dec. 6.

In support of Zenyatta's attempt for a 20th straight victory in the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), Hollywood Park in Inglewood, Calif., has placed a 20'x 150' sign on its rooftop that reads, "...Good Luck, Zenyatta!"
